The transdisciplinary field of Web science is taking the Web as its primary object of study. It is focused in the significant interplay among the social interactions enabled by the Web’s design, the scalable and open applications development mandated to support them, and the architectural and data requirements of these large-scale applications. A basic question for Web Science is what changes need to be incorporated in the Web evolution to best serve human beings. This immense task calls for a new analytical frameworks which create new possibilities and trans-form mainstream definitions.
